“The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the font from which all her power flows.”
Sacrosanctum Concilium, 10
We need what the Church has to offer. In her wisdom, and guided by the Holy Spirit, the Church provides us the liturgy in which we offer ourselves as a sacrifice, united to Christ, in the worship of God the Father.
The Liturgy is far bigger than the realities we see, smell, taste, feel, and hear.
Every movement matters.
This is why we are coming together to deepen our understanding of the truth, beauty, and goodness found in the liturgy.
Pray,
my brothers and sisters...
“...when the liturgy is celebrated, something more is required than the mere observation of the laws governing valid and licit celebration; it is their duty also to ensure that the faithful take part fully aware of what they are doing, actively engaged in the rite, and enriched by its effects.”
Sacrosanctum Concilium, 11
